Here are a few characters sleeping.  I may want to come back to this theme, as I can imagine other possibilities.  {No reference material}

This isn’t drawing movement so much as it is drawing different poses.  {No reference material}

This time, I wanted to draw attention to their mouths.  {No reference material}

I like to include some silliness every now and then.  All of these were drawn without reference to any source material.

These two were also drawn without looking at any source material.

I am spending more time trying to draw characters without looking at any source material.

You can guess which pair I spent more time drawing!

The girl with the small head had a much larger head in the reference image.  By drawing her arms first, I lost perspective and didn’t leave enough space.  There was no reference material for the guy I drew on a napkin.
